New Tires

A tire is a car part like any other: it is essential. Generally speaking, the typical driver will want to hear about tires only when they need them. There is a wide variety of vehicles out there from Sedan, Performance, trucks, and SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). All our recommendations comes from the latest Consumer Report Survey. It will not necessarily be the top ranked tire but always the best value among the top ranked. You can be assured that you’ll be offered the best tire available at the best price. We are not subsidized by any tire manufacturer which mean that we are not influenced when providing a quote.

-Several types of tire repair exist on the market but only one is approved by the Tire Industry Association. This is the only one we do. Our tire repair are lifetime warrantied and you will be able to safely resume your journey, whether it is on the country road or on the highway.

-At times, your all-season tire cannot be repaired. if you ride a Front or Rear wheel drive, it is recommended to change your unrepairable one with 2 new tires. Those 2 new tires should always be installed on the rear of your vehicle regardless of what axle powers the vehicle. If your vehicle is a 4x4 or an All Wheel Drive, TIA recommends that all tires be replaced. The reasoning behind this is that different traction from wheels that have differently worn tires may damage the drivetrain of your vehicle and may even void a probable warranty.

Why install Winter tires in the Winter?

Winter tires are made up of a rubber compound that is softer than that of any other tire. The softer tire is more efficient while riding at temperatures below 7 degree Celsius. The tread pattern of winter tires are generally different than all other types and are meant to better evacuate snow and perform better on ice.

Why install All Season or Summer tires in the Spring, Summer, and Fall?

All Season tires are manufactured with a compound rubber that is stiffer than that of winters. The hard tire is more efficient while riding at temperatures above 7 degree Celsius. The tread pattern of an All Season/Summer tires are generally different than all other types and are meant to better evacuate water and better perform on a warm pavement.

How Safe are my Tires:

When used in the correct time of year, braking distance with Winter tires is shortened, as compare with All-Seasons. The reverse is true for all season tires. The ultimate factor that will tell you which set of tires be on your vehicle is the temperature. 7 degrees Celcius is the cut-off temperature that will determine if your vehicle should wear it’s Summer/All Season or Winter tires.
